Privy Has Facilitated Digital Signatures for 156 Million Documents as of November 2025

09 December 2025

KONTAN.CO.ID - JAKARTA. Electronic signature (TTE) provider PT Privy Identitas Digital (Privy) reported that as of November 2025, 156 million documents had been digitally signed through the Privy platform.

Privy's VP of Marketing & Communications, Ratu Rima Novia Rahma, explained that this achievement demonstrates the high adoption of legal and secure TTE in Indonesia.

Currently, Privy is used by 68 million individual users and 155,000 organizations, ranging from large companies to small businesses.

“As an Electronic Certification Authority (PSrE) under the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs (Komdigi) of the Republic of Indonesia, Privy also offers a certificate warranty of up to Rp 1 billion as protection against losses resulting from the misuse of identities related to the electronic certificates issued,” Rima stated in a press release received by Kontan on Tuesday (December 9, 2025).

To expand access to TTE, Rima added, the Privy platform is now officially integrated with Microsoft Office 365 via the Microsoft Marketplace.

She explained that this integration makes it easier for users of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to sign documents legally without leaving the applications they use daily.

Through the Sign with Privy feature, users can complete the signature process in just a few clicks, without converting to PDF or manual uploads, and meet legal and security standards in Indonesia.
“This collaboration reinforces Privy's commitment to providing a seamless, efficient, and secure digital signature experience for everyone,” said Rima.

She added that based on Microsoft Corporation's (MSFT) Q4 2025 earnings call, Microsoft 365 Copilot has surpassed 100 million monthly users globally.

Therefore, Rima sees that with the large number of Microsoft users, Privy's integration strengthens the digital identity ecosystem.

“The biggest challenge is not just replacing wet signatures, but ensuring that a person's identity is valid and verifiable across applications,” she added.

For information, Privy is a PSrE that provides identity and digital signature services. In 2018, Privy became the first non-governmental institution to obtain a certificate authority (CA) license from the Indonesian Ministry of Communication and Information Technology.
