PT Mandiri Capital Indonesia (MCI), a venture capital company and subsidiary of Bank Mandiri, is once again holding its second batch of accelerator programs that create synergy or business collaboration between start-up businesses and the Mandiri Group ecosystem.

Bisnis.com, JAKARTA – PT Mandiri Capital Indonesia (MCI), a venture capital firm and subsidiary of Bank Mandiri, is holding its second accelerator program, creating synergies and business collaborations between startups and the Mandiri Group ecosystem.

Entering its second year, this program affirms MCI's commitment to driving the integration of technology solutions into the financial industry.

Throughout the program, five selected startups received intensive support, both business and technical, through mentoring and networking sessions involving various experts in their fields, such as the Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade), Amazon Web Services (AWS), Karna & Co. Law Firm, and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP).

This program has resulted in business collaborations, including DOOgether, a creative use of space as a sports facility supported by the latest technology in the MT Haryono area of Jakarta.

Then there's GOERS, which integrates a digital ticketing system at Livin' Sukha. And then there's Mimin, which implements an AI-based chatbot as a digital learning assistant for employees.

Additionally, there's PrimaKu, a child growth and development monitoring feature accessible on Livin' Sukha, as part of an initiative to improve family health literacy and access. Finally, TADA launched a loyalty engine and rewards product for Bank Mandiri's branchless banking agents.

Wisnu Setiadi, Director of Finance, Risk Management & HR at Mandiri Capital Indonesia, explained that MCI has a unique mandate: bridging startups with the Mandiri Group ecosystem to deliver relevant solutions.

"With our Holding and nine subsidiaries across various financial industry sectors, we continue to open up opportunities for collaboration beyond the accelerator program. Although this is only the second batch, we believe the synergy that has been formed can be the beginning of further synergies," he said, quoted on Friday (July 18, 2025).

MCI's long-term development vision is further strengthened by the commitment of partners like AWS, who provide technical and strategic support for the growth of our fostered startups.

"I hope the startups fostered by the MCI accelerator can become Indonesia's pride and penetrate the global market. The three messages are: don't be afraid to fail, build technology that is ready to scale up, and maintain cost efficiency through the principles of frugal architecture," said Anthony Amni, Country Manager of AWS Indonesia.

MCI is committed to continuing to expand its collaboration network and open access to more potential startups in future batches—encouraging creativity, strengthening synergies, and creating a real impact.
