Amartha has once again achieved outstanding success in the regional arena at the HR Asia Awards 2025. The financial technology company, which focuses on empowering women-led MSMEs in rural areas, won awards in two categories: Best Company to Work For in Asia 2025 (Indonesia Chapter) and The Most Caring Company 2025.

Neraca, a pioneer in MSME fintech, Amartha, once again achieved outstanding success on the regional stage at the HR Asia Awards 2025. This financial technology company, which focuses on empowering women-owned MSMEs in rural areas, won awards in two categories: Best Company to Work For in Asia 2025 (Indonesia Chapter) and The Most Caring Company 2025.

This award recognizes companies with the best performance in creating a healthy, inclusive, and well-being-oriented work environment. The assessment was conducted through a comprehensive audit covering HR policies, diversity, internal communications, leadership, and well-being programs.

Another indicator used was the Total Engagement Assessment Model (TEAM), including the Employee Engagement Survey. Last year, in an internal survey, Amartha achieved a score of 133.8, categorized as engaged, with employee participation reaching 97 percent. Eighty-nine percent of employees expressed pride in working at Amartha and would recommend it as an ideal workplace.

Amartha's Chief People Officer, Rine, said this award reflects Amartha's long-term commitment to building an empowering and caring work culture. "We believe that employee well-being and happiness are the foundation of our social impact. For us, team building isn't just about productivity, but also about meaning and growth," she said.

Since its founding in 2010, Amartha has reached more than 50,000 villages and distributed IDR 35 trillion in funding to 3.3 million women micro-entrepreneurs. One of Amartha's key strengths behind this achievement is its solid and highly dedicated internal team. Amartha has more than 10,000 employees (A-Team) spread across various regions in Indonesia, consisting of field staff and a number of employees at the head office.

Around 60 percent of Amartha's employees are women. In terms of employee age, Amartha is very welcoming to young people, especially Generation Z (Gen Z). More than 7,000 Amartha employees are Gen Z, with over 2,000 millennials and others from Generation X.

To ensure a work environment that supports employee growth, Amartha has developed various strategic initiatives, including Amarthapedia, an internal digital learning platform, and a 28-month Management Trainee program to prepare future leaders. Wellbeing initiatives are also a key focus, with an eight-dimensional approach to well-being encompassing physical, emotional, social, spiritual, and financial aspects.

Amartha, which won the Best Company to Work For in Asia award for the second time this year, also builds an internal community through various activities, such as the A-League Championship, A-Wish Birthday, BeneRUN, and mental health sessions. Furthermore, diversity and inclusion campaigns are actively implemented, including providing family-friendly facilities such as lactation rooms and daycare.

This aligns with Amartha's vision and mission, which since 2010 has been to empower grassroots communities and encourage every individual, including internal employees, to develop according to their aspirations.

"A work culture that is empathetic, inclusive, and focused on individual development is the foundation of our high-performance organization. We dedicate this award to the entire A-Team who always goes above and beyond in every step," Rine concluded.
